Mid-Beach Community Guide

In the past few years, Mid-Beach (including the area known as Millionaire's Row) has seen a revival that gives South Beach a run for its money. With its scenic location, trendy restaurants and some of Miami’s most famous hotels, this neighborhood has lots to offer, both now and in the upcoming years.

Here are some highlights.

Location, location, location

Who doesn't dream of living a few steps from the beach? In Mid-Beach, residents can forget all about parking and stuffing beach chairs in the trunk -- condos are located less than a block away from the ocean.

The Boardwalk

Stretching for about 40 blocks, this classic promenade is the perfect place to take a jog or a walk along the sea. The sea breeze keeps it cool even on the hottest days and the views are unbeatable.

The Fontainebleau

This large hotel complex may look like it only serves tourists, but it's also beloved by residents. The Fontainebleau is the home of LIV, one of Miami’s most popular club, and of BleauLive, the open-air venue where they bring headlining musical artists all year round. It also boasts one of the best spa experiences in Miami, which also include access to their famed pools and poolside cabanas. The famous hotel also offers four restaurants (Hakkasan, Michael Mina 74, Scarpetta, and StripSteak), as well as some casual dining spots.

Faena District

Designed by Argentine developer Alan Faena, this ambitious project has already celebrated the opening of two of the six buildings it will span in the future. What the future entails? Retail locations, restaurants, and Faena Art, a nonprofit art center. With its completion will come a huge cultural shift for Mid-Beach, who hasn't traditionally been a pole for the arts.

A Foodie Wonderland
Residents of Mid-Beach are sure to find all their food cravings satisfied, whether they are dedicated foodies or casual gourmets. The Fontainebleau offers four restaurants (Hakkasan, Michael Mina 74, Scarpetta, and StripSteak), as well as some casual dining spots. Faena offers three (Veranda, Los Fuegos, and Pao.) Some other famous spots include Cecconi's Miami Beach, 1500 Degrees at Eden Roc, and hip restaurant 27. In 41st Street’s Banking District, you’ll find a wide selection of fast food, casual dining, as well as the popular Cafe Avanti.
